Based in Washington, DC, Paisley Creamery is the brainchild of Erika Pierson. She started making ice cream with her turquoise KitchenAid mixer and discovered that her pints brought joy wherever they went. So, in the summer of 2019 she decided to jump into small business ownership and start Paisley Creamery, a local black woman-owned ice creamery.

Now, with a slightly bigger machine, Paisley Creamery is producing small-batch, artisan ice cream filled with fresh, quality ingredients, sometimes right out of the garden! Each batch is freshly churned by Erika and made to give you the kind of joy only homemade ice cream on a hot summer day can bring.
